A safe and popular procedure, botox is usually used on the upper third of the face, to tackle frown lines, forehead creases and crows' feet around the eyes. Lines around the lips and corners of the mouth can also be treated. As a result of this treatment your face will look smoother, younger and more relaxed. Botox carries very little risk and it is considered an excellent way of reducing the signs of ageing. The benefit of Nuleaf is that we have the equipment and specialist knowledge to improve both your teeth and your facial features under the same roof.

Widely used in medical profession for more than 10 years, it is remarkably effective at eliminating signs of aging such as frown lines and lines on the forehead and around eyes (crows feet). It can also be used to create eyebrow lifts. It is also a preventative treatment for wrinkles and therefore it is best to start before lines become too deep.

These results are achieved by injecting tiny amounts of Botox into the area being treated using a very fine needle. This relaxes the facial muscles so that they do not contract. After treatment, the lines are smoother and softer and the face looks fresher
and more relaxed. A natural expression is maintained by injecting the specific muscles responsible for the wrinkles. It is effective within 1 –2 weeks and lasts for approximately 4 – 6 months.

Skin peels are chemical exfoliates that remove the damaged superficial layers of skin and stimulate its healthy re-growth in a controlled manner. The resulting exfoliation removes layers of dead skin cells, promotes underlying collagen regeneration to reduce fine lines and even out the texture of the skin. Peels are great for creating a natural youthful look, reducing dark spots and controlling acne.

Restylane and Perlane are safe, long lasting crystal clear gels, part of a group collectively known as ‘dermal fillers’. They contain hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid attacks and binds water, hydrating and giving volume to the skin. Fillers can dramatically smooth wrinkles and deep folds, restore natural volume and enhance facial contours. The most common areas to be treated are the nasolabial folds (smile lines), the corners of the mouth and the area around the lips. They can also be used for lip augmentation, for fuller cheeks and to soften scars.

Hyperhidrosis is the term used for excessive perspiration affecting areas such as the underarms, which can be embarrassing. The process involves a number of painless injections with Botox. It starts to work within 3 – 4 days and last on average for 6 months. This is one of the most successful treatments for people with hyperhidrosis and can lead to a dramatic change in quality of life.

Melanomas and skin cancers in general have increased in numbers in the last few decades and it is always good to have any moles that you are concerned about checked by a dermatologist.

A special microscope called dermatoscope is used during the clinical examination, which enhances diagnostic accuracy.

This can help avoid unnecessary surgery and also diagnose cancer at an earlier and safer stage.

Moles and skin blemishes are extremely common. They may be cosmetically undesirable or cause problems when applying make-up or shaving.

Moles are very common skin growths, which are usually light or dark brown and are sometimes raised.

There are two main methods used for mole removal. They can either be shaved off producing optimal cosmetic results or cut out.

A skin tag is a soft, skin-coloured growth that hangs from the surface of the skin. They commonly occur around the neck and underarms. They are harmless and non cancerous. They are easily and quickly removed without any stitches required.

Warts are caused by a virus and are commonly found on the fingers and hands as well as the feet. They can be treated with a freezing spray, a technique called cryotherapy.
