Specialist in Orthodontics
Archna began her training at King’s College London, where she was awarded a BSc with first class honours in 1997 before her BDS dental degree with distinction in 2000.
She gained a broad experience of dentistry in community and hospital specialist units before commencing a three-year specialist training programme in Orthodontics at Eastman Dental Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital in 2003. During this time, she obtained her MSc with distinction and her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, allowing entry to the orthodontic specialist list.
She is currently working as a Senior Specialist Registrar between The Royal London and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. As well as providing routine orthodontic care for children, she has special interests in treating adults, patients with cleft lip and palate, and other complex orthodontic cases.
Archna is also actively involved in teaching undergraduate dental students and has lectured to postgraduate orthodontic specialist trainees.
